The candidate for Mayor of Camaçari, Flávio Matos (União Brasil), proposed the implementation of Polotech Camaçari, the largest Science, Technology and Innovation center in the Northeast. This venture, which involves billions in private investments, promises to transform Camaçari into a national reference, generating 17 thousand direct jobs and 30 thousand indirect jobs.

Polotech, designed by the candidate, will begin with education, with the construction of the Municipal Faculty of Technology and Innovation, part of an educational complex that aims to train thousands of professionals.

In addition, 20 thousand scholarships will be offered to the population, ensuring that the local workforce is prepared for the opportunities that will arise. “The people of Camaçari will never again lack jobs. The city is already rich and will become even richer. And this wealth will reach the hands of our people”, stated Flávio Matos.

Expansion and decentralization

Camaçari City Hall has already made four strategic areas available for the construction of Polotech. Other lands are being mapped to ensure that the project reaches even more regions of the city. Areas already confirmed include:

1. Technological Hub, at BA-099, Km 39, Estrada do Coco, close to Alphaville Guarajuba, with 135,499.86 m²;

2. Land close to LIMPEC and the Terra Dourada condominium, with 182,150.05 m²;

3. Land close to the Vivenda Camaçari condominium, with 106,170.64 m²;

4. Land of the Municipal Faculty of Technology and Innovation, located in the former Camelódromo, with 2,998.84 m².

In addition to the 17,000 direct and 30,000 indirect jobs generated when the hub is in operation, the construction phase will also create thousands of vacancies for professionals from different sectors, from bricklayers, electricians and machine operators, to civil engineers and project managers.

There will be more than 800 companies from the biotechnology, artificial intelligence, blockchain, renewable energy, financial technology, among other high-technology areas, consolidating the municipality as a hub of innovation and reference in Brazil and the world.

In addition to generating jobs for different areas and training levels, the project has a strong commitment to sustainability, prioritizing green technologies and encouraging collaborative innovation practices. The social benefits and investments that the hub will bring will directly benefit the local community, whether through improvements in urban infrastructure or through the creation of new spaces for coexistence and leisure.

“Polotech in Camaçari will directly contribute to the economic acceleration of the city, promoting new initiatives, in addition to those already planned, and functioning as a great hub for new professions and enterprises”, concluded Flávio Matos.
