A group of employees from the BYD factory in Camaçari, Bahia, will embark, this Monday (28), for Shenzhen, China, where they will undergo training. There, they will be able to see the manufacturer’s production of electrified cars.
The class is made up of more than 70 professionals, 35 of whom approved the professional development course in automotive operations offered by Senai, in partnership with BYD. Newly hired production leaders, Senai professors and translators will also attend. Almost all of the group’s contractors are from Bahia, with the majority from Camaçari, where the company’s largest factory outside of Asia is being built.
“We believe that this exchange of experiences and knowledge between teams in Brazil and China is very important. BYD Camaçari employees are going to be future multipliers for the electric vehicle production chain. Chinese professionals will also absorb knowledge from of the experiences of Brazilian professionals in producing cars. It is an exchange in which everyone will leave with a lot of experience to continue making a difference in the market”, highlighted the senior Human Resources manager at BYD Auto do Brasil, Rodrigo Rosseto.
This is the second group to travel to China, but it is the first time that employees who participated in Senai’s professional training will travel to visit the headquarters in the country. During the exchange, this group will also participate in the ‘Assembly and Quality Supervision in Automotive Processes’ and ‘Industrial Systems Maintenance’ courses.
The professionals underwent initial training training for leaders and technicians, which lasted 44 hours. The course had a team of instructors, including specialists in the areas of Human Resources, Industrial Process and Projects.
On the eve of the trip, the group participated, this Friday (25), in a ceremony that marked the delivery of certificates to the members, recording and agreeing on the final pre-exchange details.
Other BYD professionals had already left for the Asian country last August. The first group included 22 specialists, including engineers and leaders in the areas of quality, processes, planning, logistics and storage, 19 of whom were from Bahia, one from Piauí, one from São Paulo and one from Mexico.
