The Brazilian government reported that it is following the Israeli air strikes against Iranian territory with concern. In a statement released this Saturday (26), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that “it condemns the escalation of the conflict and renews its appeal to all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint”.
“Brazil reiterates its conviction regarding the need for a broad ceasefire throughout the Middle East and once again calls on the international community to use all diplomatic instruments at its disposal to contain the deepening of the conflict”, reinforced the statement from Itamaraty.

Israel attacked military facilities in Iran on Saturday morning, but retaliation for an Iranian attack this month did not appear to target the country’s most sensitive oil and nuclear facilities, following urgent calls from allies and neighbors for restraint.
Israel’s military said dozens of jets completed three waves of pre-dawn strikes on missile factories and other sites and warned Iran not to fight back.
Iran, for its part, reported that its air defenses responded successfully to the attack, but two soldiers were killed and some locations suffered “limited damage”. A semi-official Iranian news agency promised a “proportionate reaction” to the Israeli attacks.
