Restaurants can register until November 16th in 40 different categories, such as Best Acarajé and Best Pizzeria

The Best of Gastronomy Awards will highlight the highlights of Salvador’s gastronomy in 40 categories, which include best professionals, such as Chef of the Year, best restaurants, such as Best Acarajé and Best Pizzeria, as well as highlights such as Best Atmosphere, Best Place for a Date, Best Place to Socialize and Best Pet Friendly.

Restaurants that wish to compete for the Best of Gastronomy awards must register by November 16th.

Self-registration is free and online, through the website available on the awards official Instagram (@melhoresdagastronomia). Furthermore, restaurants will also be nominated directly by the judges. In both situations, the establishments will be curated by the Melhores da Gastronomia team before participating in the evaluation process, which will take place from November 16th to December 22nd.

The finalists will be announced gradually from January 2025. In March, the highlights and the big winner, among the 5 finalists in each category, will be revealed in a big ceremony.

The Best in Gastronomy Award is organized by promoter Licia Fabio, journalist and gastronomic critic Ronaldo Jacobina and accountant specializing in restaurants, CEO of HubNexxo, Paulo Neto. Its supporter is Jornal Correio.
