A Bahian man suspected of committing crimes of homicide, drug trafficking and criminal association was arrested on Wednesday night (32). Two other men were arrested in the action, which also seized 200 kg of cocaine. The arrests were made in São Luís, capital of Maranhão.
The drugs were hidden in a house. The captured trio (two from Santa Catarina and one from Bahia) distributed the drugs to other northeastern states. The Bahian criminal is a native of Salvador and faces charges of homicide, drug trafficking, criminal association, possession of a firearm and use of a false document.
Other members of the criminal organization are being investigated. The action was carried out by the Civil Police of Bahia, Maranhão, Santa Catarina and Alagoas.
