Stanford University, in the United States, has just released the list of the 100,000 most influential researchers in the world. Bahian doctor Roberto Badaró, professor and head of research at the SENAI Institute of Advanced Health Systems (ISI-SAS), was classified in the ranking.
“Science is the result of the work of many people around a scientific question that needs to be answered. The award and recognition is not for a single person but for the work of a great team in an institution of excellence like the one I am at today, Cimatec”, said Roberto in an interview with Alô Alô Bahia.
In addition to him, two more names that are part of Senai Cimatec: Jailson Bittencourt de Andrade (pro-rector of Postgraduate Studies at Senai Cimatec’s own University Center) and Milena Botelho Pereira Soares (full professor at ISI-SAS).
“All I can say at this moment is that I receive the news with great emotion and gratitude to all the people and institutions that supported me throughout this academic and scientific journey”, highlighted the researcher and chemist, Jailson Andrade.
The research, developed in partnership with the publisher Elsevier, uses citations from Scopus, the largest database of peer-reviewed literature. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields.
The classification is divided into two categories: citations throughout the academic career and 2023 citations. The three researchers were mentioned in the category of citations by career. The freely available Elsevier data repository provides information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, article citations, and a composite indicator (c-score).
