After being tied 1-1 with Cruzeiro, away from home, Bahia is aiming for another direct confrontation in the Brasileirão. Next Monday (28), the Esquadrão will face Vasco, at the São Januário stadium, in Rio de Janeiro. For the duel, the team will have at least two reinforcements.
After serving suspension in the last round, Santiago Arias and Caio Alexandre are available to Rogério Ceni. Arias was with the Colombia team during the FIFA date and was a starter in the matches against Bolivia and Chile.
Against Cruzeiro, Arias was replaced by Gilberto, who had a good game. Caio Alexandre, on the other hand, had his place occupied by Thaciano, who was moved back to his original role, in midfield. Biel formed the attacking duo with Everaldo.
The Bahia squad returns to training this Monday afternoon (21), at CT Evaristo de Macedo. Injured midfielder Rezende will be evaluated during the week to see if he will be fit to play against Vasco.
