Presenter has been away from open TV since the end of the program Simples Assim, in 2020

Angélica confirmed that she will be leading the return of “Video Game”, an iconic part of the “Video Show” program, which in 2025 will receive a special edition. According to the presenter, returning to command the attraction will be a moment of great satisfaction and joy.

“It’s a great joy to participate in presenting the ‘Video game’, which was part of my life and the lives of so many people”, said the blonde in an interview with O Globo, about the special edition of the attraction, which will be shown on April 25 , in celebration of Globo’s 60th anniversary.

Away from open TV since the end of the program Simples Assim, in 2020, Angélica says that she constantly receives messages from fans asking her to have a physical program on the station. “People ask me a lot to come back. It’s delicious, a sign that they miss it. For me it was also a time of abstinence. But it passed.”

“Today I have greater clarity about what I want. I want to be in all media, with my message, with my talent, with what I know how to do. I believe there is room for good content, whether on open TV or pay TV and streaming. I don’t want to do something for the sake of doing it. We need to use our voice, television engagement and our audience to send good messages. It’s everyone’s obligation. It’s not about talking nonsense. It’s not all about the audience. It goes beyond that”, he added.

Last year, Angélica debuted on Globoplay with the program “Angélica: 50 e Tanto”. During the program, Luciano Huck’s wife brought together a group of guests to discuss social issues, in addition to remembering important moments in her career.
