The four CIvil Police investigators who reported police chief Antônio Carlos Magalhães Santos were transferred from the 28th Territorial Police Station of the Northeast of Amaralina, where they were stationed, after the start of an investigation into allegations of sexual and moral harassment. The information was confirmed by the corporation.

According to the police, the removals occurred due to the “commitment to taking care of the well-being of its employees” and took place on the 12th, 16th, 18th and the last one this Tuesday (22nd). The transfers took place in accordance with the completion of each employee’s medical license.

Complaints point to bold jokes, body touching and invitations to boat rides

Sources heard by the report confirmed that the employees reported the situation to the trade union, which, in turn, forwarded the complaints to the Civil Police Internal Affairs. This is the second time he has been accused of the same crime.

Known in the community for being an active police officer, including when he was in charge of important police stations in the capital such as 5th DT Periperi, 9th DT Boca do Rio and 12th DT Itapuã, Antônio Carlos Magalhães Santos was accused by four agents approved in a competition recent report from the Civil Police. The allegations were made during a visit by the Civil Police Union of Bahia (Sindpoc) to 28°DT, at the beginning of September this year.

“They reported, for example, that he tried to cuddle, grab the girls’ hair, direct embarrassment. The four are away from the medical department and no longer want to return to the unit. They have only been in the Civil Police for a few days,” he declared. a police officer who preferred not to identify himself. Another agent interviewed by the report, also without identifying himself, gave more details: “They reported that he always treated them with daring jokes or always hugged them and called the agents to go on his boat.”

To CORREIO, Antônio Carlos Magalhães Santos said that the “removal is for the investigation” and that they are trying to harm him.
