Three members of the faction were arrested during the incidents on Tuesday (29)

73 rifles were seized from faction members in Bahia in 2024, according to data from the Public Security Secretariat. The milestone was reached this Tuesday (29) after three examples of the weapon were recovered in the act in the city of Salvador.

The weapons were recovered in two incidents, in the neighborhoods of Itapuã and Alto do Cabrito. In the first case, a drug and weapons distribution laboratory was dismantled by security forces. Two 5.56 caliber rifles, 150 kg of drugs, scales, among other materials were found at the scene. In addition to the seizure, two men and a woman were arrested.

In the Alto do Cabrito region, criminals fled when they noticed the presence of the Military Police. The suspects left behind a 5.56 caliber rifle, magazine, ammunition and portions of drugs.
