15-year-old teenager is killed with stones in Juazeiro

A 15-year-old teenager was killed with stones in Juazeiro, in the north of the state. The body was found last Sunday (27) in a sports court located on Rua Quadra 24, in the João Paulo II neighborhood. According to the Civil Police (PC), the stone used in the crime was found next to the victim, identified as Jonathas Silveira de Araújo.
According to information from TV São Francisco, an affiliate of TV Bahia in the region, the PC’s suspicion is that the case was motivated by a feud, but there were no details of what the dispute was. The origin of the injury was confirmed by a doctor from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).
The case is being investigated by the Juazeiro Homicide Police Station. The circumstances, authorship and motivation are being investigated. Guides for removal and examination were issued and interviews and investigations will be carried out to clarify the crime.
