Victim was shot on Monday afternoon (28)

Salvador recorded yet another case of execution ordered by criminal organizations. This time, the incident was recorded in the Lobato neighborhood, in Subúrbio Ferroviário, on Monday afternoon (28), when a 15-year-old teenager was approached by armed men from Comando Vermelho (CV) and became the target of several shots. The victim was identified by residents by her first name Rebeca.

The Bahia Civil Police (PC) confirmed the case and reported that the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman hit by gunshots. According to the PC, the victim was rescued in a Military Police vehicle and taken to Hospital do Subúrbio, but did not survive the seriousness of his injuries.

A resident, whose identification will be preserved, stated that the teenager had become the CV’s target on suspicion of collaborating with Bonde do Maluco (BDM) in the region. “They discovered that, in addition to being involved with a drug dealer, she was working as a scout in the neighborhood. So, I saw things happening and passed it on to the people there. When they found out, they went to kill her”, reports the source.

According to the resident, Comando Vermelho traffickers had been looking for the victim for at least a week. “They had already invaded her grandmother’s house last week, but they didn’t find it. When it happened now, they caught her on the street”, he says. The information is not confirmed by the PC, which is still investigating the victim’s formal identification, authorship and motivation for the crime.

When asked to respond to the case, the Military Police of Bahia (PM-BA) responded that military police officers from the 17th Independent Company (CIPM) were called with information about a woman lying on the ground, victim of gunshots, on Avenida Afrânio Peixoto. At the scene, the police found the victim and helped him, but he did not resist.
