13 cities in Bahia receive danger warning for low humidity
Far West and São-Franciscano Valley of Bahia will be affected

Bahia has 13 cities on low humidity alert, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet). The main municipalities affected are in the Far West and Vale São Francisco regions. The list includes cities such as Barra, Formosa do Rio Preto and Xique-Xique.
The warning was issued on Monday morning (28) and ends at 5pm. The forecast is that, during this period, the relative humidity of the air varies between 12% and 20%, with the ideal being above 50%, according to studies by the World Health Organization (WHO). There is a risk of forest fires and health, dry skin, discomfort in the eyes, mouth and nose.
The recommendation is to consume plenty of fluids, avoid physical activity during periods of high temperature and sun exposure during the hottest hours of the day and use skin moisturizer, in addition to humidifying the environment. In case of emergency, it is possible to call the Civil Defense (telephone 199) and the Fire Department (telephone 193).
In Brazil, areas in other states will also be affected. They are: South Cearense, Southeast Piauiense, Sertões Cearenses, São Francisco Pernambucano, Center-North Piauiense, West Potiguar, Sertão Paraibano, Southwest Piauiense, Center-South Cearense, Sertão Pernambucano, East Maranhense, Jaguaribe, Noroeste Cearense, North Piauiense
