Seven people were injured after the van of the band Nave Som, from Santa Catarina, collided with a car in the west of the state on Sunday (27). The two vehicles fell from a cliff approximately 10 meters high on SC-390, and everyone involved in the accident needed to be hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Fire Department reported that, in the van, there were six people between 25 and 49 years old, who are part of the group or team responsible for the musical attraction. In the car, only the 22-year-old driver.

Vocalist Tácia Holdefer published a photo on social media after being discharged, and showed that she had broken her nose. “When I can, I’ll come by to talk to you. I thank you in advance for your concern and prayers,” he said in the caption of a photo.

Olmar Kulmann, also a singer in the group, assured via social media that no member of the band was seriously injured. “All members of Nave Som have already been promptly treated at Hospital São Camilo, in Concórdia, SC, and are doing well. We thank everyone for the messages received and our good God for their deliverance”, he declared in a video.

In a statement, the band gave details of the accident. “Fortunately, all band members are fine and, with God’s grace, only suffered minor injuries and are now home with their families,” the team began.

“The accident occurred due to improper overtaking between two cars, causing a head-on collision with the van in which the band was traveling. We first thank God for the deliverance and for the lives of our team,” he added.

“We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Piratuba and Concórdia Volunteer Firefighters and the São Camilo de Concórdia Hospital for the quick and careful care provided”, he concluded.

The band had a show in the city of Piratuba on Sunday (27), but had to cancel due to the circumstances.

Nave Som is a regional success, with more than 20 years of career. The group has gone through several different formations, but currently has eight musicians and two vocalists. The band focuses on different musical styles, ranging from forró to country music.
