The comedian I deny Di He requested a new request for freedom from the Rio Grande do Sul Court, but received a no answer. He has been in prison for three months accused of harming at least 370 people by selling household appliances through an online store he owned.

The request was sent to the 2nd Criminal Court of Canoas, in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre and judged by judge Patricia Pereira Krebs Tonet this Tuesday (22). In addition to him, Anderson Boneti, the comedian’s partner, is also in prison.

According to G1, the judge understood that “the signs of authorship and materiality identified during the investigative phase remain unchanged, preventing it from being concluded that milder measures other than prison are effective.”

Nego Di was arrested on July 14, on Jurerê Internacional beach, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. According to the Civil Police, customers purchased and paid for products — such as televisions and air conditioning units — but they were never delivered.

The investigation points out that although the items were not available, the ex-BBB website allowed the sale to take place. After many complaints, he promised that the deliveries would be made, even though he knew it would not be possible to keep his promise.

The virtual store in question, Tadizuera, operated between March 18 and July 26, 2022 — when the Court ordered it to be taken offline. During this period, the Police state that financial transactions in bank accounts linked to the store exceeded R$5 million.

Fake donation to RS

In addition to the accusations involving his online store, Nego Di also became the target of another controversy after his banking secrecy was broken. It was revealed that the former BBB member lied when he said he had donated R$1 million to the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul. In reality, he only made a pix of R$100.

At the time, the comedian boasted about his attitude and demanded a position from other artists. “Guys, I would like to share with you a decision that we made here at home today, my boss and I. We talked a lot, and I made a choice that was not easy, I confess to you, but we made this choice of heart. I decided to donate R$1 million to Rio Grande do Sul. I sent R$1 million to my partner Badin’s fundraiser. [Colono]which was already at R$50 million — I am one of those R$51 million”, he declared.

Badin, organizer of the crowdfunding, denied any involvement with the situation and reported how the contact made by Nego Di to talk about helping the population of Rio Grande do Sul would have been.

“During the floods, he helped a lot with publicity and there was a day when he called me and said: ‘Man, I want to donate R$ 1 million to Vakinha’. I said: ‘Wonderful, perfect.” My God, why would I deny a donation? I spoke: ‘Dude, shoot,'” he said.

He said that the donation would be made in parts, he sent me the receipt, I posted it and thanked him because I was happy. Guys, in a few days there were more than R$10 million in the pool, I couldn’t keep track of whether what he said would be done was included or not.

“The money was administered by the Vakinha Institute. The demands came to me, I passed it on to them, and they allocated it. There was no way for me to know whether his donation was received or not”, he continued.
